New Honorary Life Member 2017
It was with great pleasure that the members of the County Down
bestowed the honour of 'Life Time Honorary Membership' upon our most
successful member and NI top exhibitor ,Mr David N Boyd Esq.
Without a doubt David Boyd has been Ireland's top breeder and
exhibitor of Exhibition Budgerigars producing the very best of the best!
David has won the 'Northern Ireland Breeder of the Year Award' ,for the
last five consecutive years,winning major colour awards and sections and
was the only Northern Ireland exhibitor to win multiple ,Best in Shows, in
both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland in 2014 ,2015 ,2016.
Year after year he has produced stunning quality young birds which have
dominated the young bird classes and enhanced all our shows.
As a mark of respect and a timely token of esteem the members voted to
bestow this honour to a very, very worthy winner.
David has served this club as President and Chairman.He is a man of
integrity and honour whose wisdom and leadership has helped guide the
club into the success is it today!
David is also an NI Panel Judge and a 'very ,very good breeder and
exhibitor' of world class exhibition budgerigars.
